Essential vs Complete: which clinic policy pack should I choose?
Choosing a policy pack starts with the documents your clinic needs and the work you are prepared to do to adapt them. Both Clinic Compliance Co. packs provide editable Word files in a ZIP download. They are draft resources to review and personalise.
Essential Policy Pack: £95
Essential contains 41 documents: 20 core policy and preparation files, 19 forms and registers, a checklist/completion guide and source notes. It covers areas such as registration scope, the Statement of Purpose, governance, consent, safeguarding, complaints, medicines, infection prevention and clinical records.
This is the smaller starting point if you want the core policy and record set and intend to develop additional operational or treatment-specific documentation separately.
Complete Registration Pack: £195
Complete contains 68 documents. Alongside the Essential set, it adds 18 operational policies and procedures and nine treatment-specific template sets. The extra £100 therefore provides 27 additional documents.
The additional material includes procedures for needlestick incidents, recalls, test follow-up, referrals and remote consultations, plus treatment-specific templates. Choose the broader set if these areas match the services you plan to provide.
What both packs require from you
The files contain clearly labelled completion fields for your organisation, address and named responsibilities. Complete these with your own information, check every policy against actual practice and resolve outstanding fields. Clinical protocols need appropriate professional review, and your team needs to understand and implement the final documents.
A larger pack is not automatically a better fit: select documents for the activities, age groups, consultation methods and treatments relevant to your clinic. Neither pack includes personal checks, insurance or a guarantee of CQC registration.
